P6209 4 GHz Probe Instruction Manual
To set the probe offset, follow these steps:
1.
Set the oscilloscope vertical scale to the least sensitive V/div
setting (
500 mV/div
on the CSA/TDS8000).
2.
Attach the probe to the circuit.
3.
Adjust the probe offset to bring the trace onto the oscilloscope
screen.
4.
Change the volts/division setting to the desired range, adjusting
the offset to keep the trace on screen.
NOTE
. The
P6209
has a
±
5.0 V offset range. The linear operating
range is
±
2.00 V. See Figure 1. Also, see page 13 for more informa-
tion.
