Probe Compensation

Before taking any measurements using a probe, first check the
compensation of the probe and adjust the probe compensation to
match the channel input the probe is connected to.

NOTE

. If you use a hook tip, ensure a proper connection by firmly

twisting the hook tip onto the probe.

1. Connect the probe to the Probe Comp signal on your TDS 200

series oscilloscope and then press AUTOSET.

2. Compensate the probe by adjusting the trimmer on the probe so

that the corners of the signal are square.
