Load resistor for voltage
noise testing
Loading resistors for high current in voltage
mode and high voltage in current mode.
All resistors should be rated for at least 50 W.
Ohms tolerance within 5%. Resistor composition
is not critical. To perform the tests as illustrated,
both leads of the load resistor require a banana
plug/jack (or equivalent) to connect to the power
supply.

Self Test
This procedure uses internal routines to verify that the DUT functions and passes its internal
self-tests. No test equipment or connections are required.
1. Disconnect all cables from the DUT outputs.
2. Power on the DUT. The front-panel display will light up briefly while the DUT performs its
power-on self test. All the display annunciators will light up at once.
3. Review the display with all the annunciators. Visually check if there are any strokes lost on any
annunciator.
