Note: The coaxial (common) shield of the sensor tip cable and tip adapters should always be connected to the
lowest impedance point (usually a circuit common or power supply rail) in the circuit-under-test (relative to the
sensor tip cable/center conductor) to obtain the most accurate waveform.
Use the following steps to install the solder pins using the soldering aide on the circuit board:
1. Carefully insert the solder pins into the soldering aide as shown in the following illustration.

2. Use the soldering aide to hold the square pins in place while soldering the square pins to the circuit board.
3. If necessary apply a small amount of adhesive to further strengthen the connection to the circuit board. However, keep
the height of the adhesive to a minimum to provide good electrical contact for the adapter.
