System

Use System to set certain instrument characteristics that are retained for each subsequent power on. The System screen also
contains the instrument’s security settings.

In the toolbar, go to Utilities > System.

SourceXpress connection. You can choose to disable the ability of the external SourceXpress application to connect to the
instrument. SourceXpress has the ability to connect to, and control, the instrument directly from it's interface. This setting is
retained for subsequent power on cycles.

GPIB. You can enter a unique GPIB address here. If changing the address, you must disconnect and reconnect the external
USB-to-GPIB converter.

Security. Adjust the security settings for the instrument.

■

Lock Instrument. Displays the Windows lock screen. The programmable interface is not affected.

■

USB Ports, Front. Allows you to disable the front panel USB ports.

■

USB Ports, Back Allows you to disable the rear panel Host USB ports.
