If there is a problem, check the CONFIG.SYS on the hard drive for the line:
BASEDEV=QL510.ADD
If this line exists, change it as follows:
BASEDEV=QL510.ADD
to:
REM BASEDEV=QL510.ADD
You may also install the driver manually:
1.
Copy the file TMSCSIM.ADD from the directory \OS2DRV on the Tekram driver disk
to the directory C:\OS2.
2.
Edit C:\ CONFIG.SYS. At the beginning of the file, add the following line:
BASEDEV=TMSCSIM.ADD
Note1
: If OS/2 is
booting from an IDE drive,
the line: BASEDEV=TMSCSIM.ADD must
appear after the line that loads the IDE driver (e.g. IBM1S506.ADD) in the
CONFIG.SYS
Note2
: If your OS/2 is installed to IDE drive from SCSI CD-ROM drive, TMSCSIM.ADD
will be located at the first line in C:\CONFIG.SYS after installation. Before booting
OS/2 from IDE drive, modify the file C:\CONFIG.SYS as described in Note1.
6.3 Un-installing the Driver
1.
Edit the C:\CONFIG.SYS file.
Modify the line:
BASEDEV=TMSCSIM.ADD
to:
REM BASEDEV=TMSCSIM.ADD
2.
Re-boot the system.
