Using the Network Version
Changing settings:
If
SLICENSE.EXE
has not been installed in the
[base]
folder, you
will need to specify the access path to the license file.

Enter the new access path to the license file, or click on the
Browse...
button.

If you wish to allow the service to be closed while users are
still logged on, check the
Enable stopping while users are
connected
option.

If you wish to change
License Service
’s display language,
select the required language in the
Language
list.

Click on OK in the dialog box to update the changes.

Modifying the service’s behavior
By default,
License Service
is launched automatically when the
workstation is started up. However, it is possible to change the
service’s behavior using the
Services
dialog box in the Windows
NT
Control panel
. Refer to the Microsoft documentation.
Changing the service startup type

Select
SLicense
in the list of services.

Click on
Startup...

Check the required startup option. By default,
SLicense
is
configured to start up automatically.
Selecting a user account

Log on as
box.

password
then click on OK in the

vice
dialog box.
