• The water tank must be filled for defrosting, steam cooking and combined cooking: fill the tank with
cold water
(fig. 6)
to the marked maximum level
(fig. 7)
.
If, during cooking, there is a problem with the flow of water, the display symbols will flash
and the oven will emit a series of audible signals. The reason can be one of the following:
the water tank is empty, has not been inserted or is badly positioned. The tank must be
refilled or repositioned. Also check that the water pipe is not blocked (see page 26).
Filling the water tank
• To speed up defrosting of frozen foods: insert the bottom shelf and place
the frozen products on the juice tray. Place the juice tray on the bottom
oven shelf
(fig. 9)
. Close the oven. The oven can be used to defrost food at
temperatures between 55 and 65°C.
• Select defrost mode by pressing the “SELECT” button once
(fig. 10)
. The
default setting defrosts food at 60°C for 10 minutes.
• If you wish to change the defrost time:
- press the timer button
(fig. 11).
- press the + / - buttons to change the defrost time
(fig. 12).

(fig. 13).
- press the + / - buttons to change the defrost temperature
(fig. 12).
Press the Start / Stop button to start
(fig. 8)
. Defrosting will start. At the end
of the defrosting time, the oven will turn off automatically.
• If the temperature
exceeds 65°, the
defrost symbol
disappears from the
digital display; the
oven then operates
in steam cooking
mode with a higher
temperature.
• During defrosting,
the time and
temperature can
be adjusted using
the + / - buttons
(fig. 12).
Defrosting
• If you open the door during cooking: the heating and the timer countdown will stop. An audible signal
will be given and the display will flash. Close the door and the oven continues to operate normally.
• Whatever cooking mode is being used, the oven can be stopped before cooking has finished. Use the
Start / Stop button
(fig. 8)
.
- Press Start / Stop once: the digital display will indicate 3 minutes. The oven will stop automatically
in 3 minutes, after the steam has been cleared.
- Press Start / Stop button twice: the oven will stop.
