Installing the Drive, Cabling and Host Adapter Board
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, make
sure power to the computer is off.
1.
If you do not have an available SCSI port, install a SCSI host adapter board
in the computer (refer to your host adapter documentation).
NOTE: Adding a SCSI device to an internal SCSI bus often requires changing
terminators on the host adaptor board. Refer to your host adapter documentation and
“About SCSI Bus Termination” in Appendix A for more information.
