4.2.3 Connect a TV
You have several options to connect a TV set to the receiver,
depending on the capabilities of your TV. Please choose one of the
following:
•
Best option (HDMI, required for HDTV reception): Connect the
HDMI socket of your receiver with a HDMI socket of your TV
with a proper HDMI cable (not included).
NOTE
If you connect your receiver with a TV capable of CEC
you possibly can control basic functionalities of your
receiver using the TV's remote. Please consult the
manual of your TV set.
•
Second best option (SCART): Connect the SCART socket of
your receiver with a SCART socket of your TV with a proper
SCART cable (not included).
•
Third best option (VIDEO): Connect the VIDEO and AUDIO
R/L sockets of your receiver with the corresponding sockets of
the TV with a proper 3xCinch cable (not included).
4.2.4 Connect your stereo (optional)
You can connect your stereo or external audio amplifier to the
receiver using a proper electrical (Cinch) SPDIF cable.
4.2.5 Connect the receiver to mains
ATTENTION
Only use a properly installed 230 V ~ 50 Hz mains
socket. Please do not switch on the device until all
other devices have been switched on.
1. Plug the 12V jack of the power supply unit into the receivers
DC IN socket.
2. Plug in the power supply unit to a mains socket.
