3 Control panel
The most important part of the equipment is the computerized system that lets you control the
available functions. It has been designed for easy use by everyone. The control panel consists
of the following instruments:
A - Right keypad: this contains the number
keys for data entry, the
ENTER
key for
confirmation, and the
CLEAR
key, for
deleting entered information.
B - Left keypad: this contains the keys for
choosing the different available
functions.
C - Central keypad: this contains the keys
for varying the level of difficulty and the
QUICK START
keys for starting exercise in
the selected mode or resuming a
function in pause, and
STOP
, to halt the
workout session.
D - Alphanumeric display: area where all
messages and requested or entered
data are displayed; during exercise, this
area shows the profile for the current
session (level of difficulty). The lights
on the left side show the selected
function.
E - Digital display: area where the power,
elapsed miles (kilometers), calories
consumed, heart rate, time (elapsed or
remaining), and speed of the current
session are displayed.
F - Effort level indicator: this consists of
12 lights showing the effort level of the
current workout session.
