8 Operating the PVR
Your receiver is equipped with a slot for USB devices. You can use this as a
recording medium.
A USB device must be inserted as a recording medium in order to record.
The recording capacity thus depends on the size of the recording medium and the volume of
data in the programme.
When recording, the teletext data and subtitles (where broadcast) are also recorded as well
as the actual audio and video data. You can call these up during subsequent playback, as
described in the points
6.2
,
7.9
and
7.10

8.1 Formatting the storage medium
In order to use the PVR functions of your set, you must insert a USB device in the
USB socket.
The USB devices should be formatted in the FAT32 file system format. You can carry out the
formatting as follows:

Press the
Menu
button.

Use the
up/down arrow buttons
to select the menu line
PVR management

Use the
up/down arrow buttons
to highlight the line

Confirm with the
OK
button to format the PVR medium.
The receiver formats the PVR medium and re-starts.
Caution:
All data on the USB device will be deleted and cannot be restored !!!
8.2 Recording
8.2.1 Immediate recording
>
Switch to the channel on which the programme you want to record is being broadcast.
>
Press the
Record
button to record the current programme. The programme will
continue to be played on the screen while the recording is running.
>
To finish recording, first press the
Stop
button.
The following request appears.
