by the FSK (Voluntary Internal Monitoring) at the instigation of the highest level of the youth
authorities in each country.
In order to release a pre-blocked programme with an active young persons protection you
will need to enter a four-digit PIN code. You will receive your PIN code with your Smartcard.
7.3.1.1 Young persons protection PIN code
Your digital receiver is equipped with a parental control function that enables you to block
access to individual channels (see Point 8.3). In addition, in the case of IRDETO encrypted
channels, individual broadcasts that are not suitable for children or adolescents can be
blocked by means of a parental control code/symbol. To unblock the specific programme, the
Young persons protection PIN code
must be entered. This PIN code is stored on the
Smartcard. You will receive this when you register the card. The
Young persons
protection PIN code
must
not
be confused with
the equipment PIN code
of the
digital receiver (Point 9.3.1).
If you switch to a channel which is currently broadcasting a pre-blocked programme, a
message will appear which asks you to enter the young persons protection PIN code.

If you enter the wrong code you can re-enter the PIN code or you can leave the menu

7.4 Volume control
You have the facility to adjust the volume of your digital receiver. This facilitates the easy
operation of the receiver, as it means you have all the important functions on a single remote
control, and will only rarely have to resort to using the remote control of the television set.
When you switch on the digital receiver, sound will be reproduced at the volume level last set.

7.5 TV/Radio switching
The receiver’s pre-programming includes both TV and radio channels.

will now switch to the last radio programme previously selected.
