6.3 Picture settings
To optimise the digital receiver for use with your television set, you can make further
adjustments in the Picture settings menu.

Use this setting to determine how broadcasts transmitted in 4:3 format are displayed on a
16:9 wide screen TV.

6.3.2 Pictures
Here you can choose between the pre-configured settings or you can make all settings
yourself under

6.3.2.1 Brightness
Increase the brightness if details in dark sections of the picture are no longer visible,
avoid showing black objects as grey.

Brightness
