SYMPTOM

Is the mains connected?.

Is the volume control turned up?

The DVD+-RW you played should be finalized.
Ensure the disc is correctly inserted.

Some discs prohibit rapid scanning or title and chapter skip.
You can’t advance through the opening credits and warning
information at the beginning of movies.

Point the handset at the player not the screen!

I can hear some sound
but there is no picture
or the picture is very
distorted.
(HDMI connection)
The HDMI resolution has been set to a value too high for the
screen.
Switch the player and TV off. Disconnect the HDMI cable and
connect a SCART cable from the player to the TV (see Page 7).
Switch the TV and the Player on. Set the TV to SCART or CVBS
mode as needed. The picture will re-appear.
Enter the system menu and restore system defaults (page 18).
Switch the TV and player off and restore the HDMI cable.
Switch the TV and Player on, and set the TV to HDMI.
The picture will now restore.
Photos are displayed
on the iPod screen,
but not on the Media
Player screen
Your iPod may be a model that does not support TV OUT.
Check the specification of your iPod.
A photo is displayed
on the iPod screen,
but not on the TV
Press the
key to switch the iPod photo display to your
Player.
The handset will not
select iPod menus
The iPod may not have authorised correctly.
Remove the iPod from the dock and dock it again.
The Player Controls
lock up or operate
incorrectly
Your Player is a complex electronic product and there may be
occasions when playback of certain media combinations could
cause the control system to ‘lock’. In this case, turn off the
power, wait for 5 seconds, then turn it back on again. This will
reset the control system of the player.
