PHOTO SLIDESHOW

Photos stored on a docked iPod can also be displayed if 
the iPod is a newer model equipped with TV out.
Proceed to dock your iPod, switch on the power 
and select ‘iPod’ mode. Wait for a few seconds until 
authentication is complete.
From the Home menu -

Select the ‘Photos’ option.

• 

The display screen will display the message ‘Navigate your 
iPod photo library directly from your iPod’ or press the 
[CLEAR] key to go back to main menu’.

Using the buttons on the remote control to navigate 

• 

the menus on the iPod display, locate the photo 
collection you want to display as a thumbnail view.
Highlight the first picture you want to display in 

• 

thumbnail view, then press 

 to display a full-

screen view of the photo on the iPod.
Press 

• 

 again to start the slideshow on the TV 

screen.

The iPod will count down, then begin a slide-show of your 
pictures on the display.

IMPORTANT NOTE:- Photos can only be viewed from an 
iPod model that is equipped with TV OUT. Some iPod 
models can store photos, but do not feature TV OUT. 
Please check with Apple if you are in any doubt that your 
iPod is equipped with TV OUT.

SLIDESHOW CONTROL

You can control the slideshow with the following buttons -

 button to Pause the slideshow.

 button to re-start the slideshow.

When playing the slideshow, press the

button to select the previous or next photo.
Press the

 button to stop the slideshow.

After stopping the slideshow you can return to the iPod 
menu and select a different slideshow or press the 

CLEAR

 

button to return to the Home menu and select another 
function.

Background music

While the slideshow is running, background music will 
play from the iPod music library. The iPod will play all 
albums in the library in alphabetical sequence.
To switch off the background music, turn down the volume 
to minimum.

iPod SETTINGS

There are some menu settings that affect only iPod 
operation.

To change iPod menu settings:

Navigate to the ‘Home’ menu.

Select the ‘Settings’ option.

• 

You can now choose to set Shuffle or Repeat modes or to 
change the Language setting for your iPod menus.

Shuffle modes

You can choose to set ‘Shuffle songs’ to play all songs on 
the iPod in a random sequence or ‘Shuffle albums’ which 
will shuffle the albums into a random sequence, then play 
each one in turn.

Repeat modes

You can choose to set ‘Repeat 1’ mode to repeat the song 
currently playing or ‘Repeat All’ which will repeat the 
current selection playing.

Language settings

You can choose to set the display language from the 
selection listed.
