Intended use
The
Ultrasonic heat meter ultra S3
is an energy meter for universal application in heat
and cold measuring systems.
Device properties
The computer unit is available in the following versions:

as a special version for solar systems (there is no calibration for this
version)

Safety and hazard information
Ö
The regulations for the use of energy meters must be observed.
Ö
Only clean the outside of the meter using a soft, slightly moistened cloth.
Power supply
Battery
A 3.6 V DC lithium battery is installed in the standard version.
Cannot be replaced.

Used batteries must be disposed of at the proper collection points!
– There is the danger of explosion if the wrong type of battery is used.
Power supply unit
A power supply unit can be retrofitted by a specialist electrician for use of the meter in
control systems at all times.
Power supplies are available with 24 V AC or 230 V AV.
Not suitable for consumption acquisition to create a legally binding cost allocation because
the measurement functions are inoperative during a power failure.

Optional fast measurement interval 4 seconds (e.g. for measuring hot water energy and
for local district heating stations)

The measuring accuracy meets the requirements of EN 1434
•

Individual remote reading with optional Plug & Play modules (M-bus, pulse)
