If the error still exists, please contact Tecan
Customer Support.
Barcode reading
failure
An error has occurred
during the barcode
reading process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to remove
the reagent cartridge and sample deck.
Switch off the instrument
Switch on the instrument to initiate the self-
test/diagnostic sequence.
Reload the MagicPrep NGS and try to
repeat the library preparation.
If the error still exists, please contact Tecan
Customer Support.
Data Integrity Problem An error has occurred
while downloading log
files.
Remove and reinsert the USB drive and retry
downloading the log files.
If the problem is not resolved, check if a new
SW update is available
If you are operating on the latest released SW
version
Switch off the instrument
Switch on the instrument to initiate the self-
test/diagnostic sequence.
If the error still exists, please contact Tecan
Customer Support.
Instrument internal
communication
problem
An error has occurred
within the library
preparation process.
Stop the library run
Follow the on-screen instructions to remove
the used reagent cartridge and sample deck
Check if a new SW update is available
If you are operating on the latest released SW
version
Switch off the instrument
Switch on the instrument to initiate the self-
test/diagnostic sequence.
Reload the MagicPrep NGS and try to
repeat the library preparation.

Instrument door
problem

possibly due to the front
door being opened.
Stop the library run
Follow the on-screen instructions to remove
