Congratulations to your purchase of a TeCom-PS.
Please read the manual carefully prior to your first use of the
TeCom-PS to learn about the various functions of your radio
and to ensure proper operation.
The TeCom-PS is available in the following two versions:
TeCom-PS PMR (item no. PR8059)
This PMR radio does not require a registration and no fees
apply in most european countries. For more details about the
different countries’ regulations see the Declaration of
Conformity.
The radio is programmed with 8 PMR frequencies (446 MHz),
a max. TX power of 500 mW and a bandwidth of 12.5 kHz.
Modification of the programmed frequencies, tx power or band-
width is not permitted.
TeCom-PS UHF-COM (item no. PR8060)
This commercial radio needs to be registered in most european
countries. For more details about the different countries’ regulati-
ons see the Declaration of Conformity.
The radio has 128 programmable channels. Only assigned fre-
quencies in the range of 440 - 470 MHz and parameters are allo-
wed to be programmed; bandwidth 12.5 kHz or 25 kHz; tx power
max. 2 W.
The TeCom-PS can be programmed with the optional software
T-UP16. The set includes a CD-ROM for Windows XP opera-
ting system and a USB data cable.
