7.6 Software Upgrade
You can update the software of the equipment via USB port. The software of the new version can
support more areas and more functions or solve more problems. Via “MENU->Digital TV->
Software Upgrade”, you can enter into “Software Upgrade” menu, as shown in Fig7-34.
1) Insert an USB storage devise into the USB socket. The upgrading software should be
stored in the storage device before the operation.

Move cursor to “Software Upgrade” option and press OK key. It will enter into “Software
Upgrade” menu as shown in Fig7-35.
3)
Choose “Download from USB” option. It will enter into “USB Upgrade” menu.
4)
Move cursor to choose the upgrading software file. It will perform upgrading automatically,
as shown in Fig7-36.
5)
Wait until the upgrading completed. It will turn off and restart automatically. Then the new
software takes effect.
Warning:
During the upgrading, do not turn off the unit or unplug the USB device. Otherwise, it will
damage the firmware and will not boot up again. Once you perform the upgrading, all the
data such as channel list, user configured data will be cleared and will restore to default
settings
.
