Listen to Radio

You can enjoy FM and AM radio with the DC-D2700. The
Station Memory function allows the instant recall of up
to 10 stations; 5 for FM and 5 for AM.

ª

Manual Tuning

1. Set the FUNCTION selector to RADIO position.

The tuner display will be indicated.

2. Set the BAND selector to desired position.

FM STEREO:

Receives FM program in stereo. The FM STEREO indi-
cator will light when receiving the FM stereo prgram.

FM:

Receives FM program in mono mode. When the FM
signals received are weak or there is interference on
the airwaves, it is preferable to receive the program
in this position.

AM:

Receives AM program.

* FM antenna setting

Extend the supplied FM wire antenna on the rear
panel and try to find the best FM antenna position
when selecting FM.

3. Continue pressing the TUNING (Up) or (Down)

button until the desired station is reached.

Note:

If you press either TUNING (Up) or (Down) button
longer than 0.5 second, the fast tuning will be activated.

ª

Auto Search

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above (of "Manual Tuning").
2. Press AUTO SEARCH button once.

The unit will search the station automatically and the
search stops at the first strong station being
received. Repeat until your desired station is being
received.

Notes:

To terminate Auto Search, just press either TUNING
(Up) or (Down) button.

For weaker stations utilize the manual selection of the
radio station.

Since Auto search stops if a signal of certain strength
is received, it will not necessarily stop at the exact
frequency of the desired station depending on the
signal strength of the program. If this occurs, press
the TUNING (Up) or (Down) button until the correct
frequency is reached.

ª

Preset Tuning

This unit is equipped with five preset stations for both
AM and FM. Once they are preset, you can enjoy broad-
casting corresponding to those preset stations by sim-
ply pressing the STATION MEMORY button.

1. Select the required station manually or automatically

as described above.

2. Press the MEMORY button and then one of the STA-

TION MEMORY buttons. The frequency is memorized
on that STATION MEMORY.

ª

Recalling Preset Stations

1. Press the STATION MEMORY button on which the

frequency of the station you want to recall is memo-
rized.
