Using the alarm function
You can choose to be woken up by a radio station or by an alarm tone.
Setting the alarm clock
Switch the device to standby.

desired alarm.
The sequence is:

Alarm tones >
Radio > OFF
The currently selected symbol appears in the top right of the display.
The currently set alarm time is also shown and
ALARM
flashes on
the display.
Press and hold
until the hour digits flash.

Turn the volume dial to set the hours.

Confirm by pressing
. The minutes will flash.

Turn the volume dial to set the minutes.

Finish setting the alarm by pressing
again, or wait a few

seconds until the display automatically switches to the current time.
The alarm settings have been saved.
ALARM
will be shown constantly on the display.
Snoozing or switching off the alarm
At the set time, the device switches on and wakes you with an alarm tone
or the radio.
The volume is low at first and increases to the maximum alarm volume.

Interrupting the alarm (snooze function)
Press any button on the device
(except the volume dial)
to interrupt

the alarm for approx. 5 minutes and then have the alarm sound again.
SNOOZE
is shown on the display.
This can be repeated several times.
If you would like to switch off the repeat function, press the volume
m
dial once or the
button twice.
The alarm turns off and the device switches to standby. The alarm
will sound again at the same time the following day.
Turning the alarm off completely
Switch the device to standby.

appears on the display.

Confirm by pressing
or wait a few seconds until the time

is shown again on the display.
Resetting
Electromagnetic interference around the device could lead to malfunc-
tions. If the device is not working properly, take the mains adapter out of
the socket and wait for a few seconds. Then plug the device in again and
switch it on. If the device still does not work properly, remove the device
from the area with electromagnetic interference and try it again in a new
location.
