Switching on and off
To switch on the device:
Slide the On/Off switch on the back of the device to
ON
. The device is

Press the volume dial on the front of the device. The display lights up

To switch off the device:
Press and hold the volume dial until the display light goes out.

Setting the time
Switch the device to standby.

Press and hold
until the hour digits flash on the display.

Turn the volume dial to set the hours.

Confirm by pressing

The minutes will flash.

Turn the volume dial to set the minutes.

Confirm by pressing

7.
The time is set.

Press the volume dial to switch between the operating modes.

The mode of operation will appear on the display.
Adjusting the volume
Turn the volume dial towards the
+
sign to increase the volume.

Turn the volume dial towards the
–
sign to decrease the volume.

While you adjust the volume, the change will be indicated on the display
(0 ... 32) along with the speaker symbol
.
The mute symbol
will appear when the volume reaches 0.
Lighting and display
When the device is in operation, the display and the ring of LEDs around
the dial light up.
If you do not press a button or carry out any other activity for approx.
30 seconds, the lights are dimmed. As soon as you press a button again,
the display and the ring of LEDs around the dial light up again.
