Care, maintenance and storage
The unit is mostly maintenance-free. After long periods of operation and
frequent use, the electromagnetic valve may become leaky. This is noticeable
by a constant hissing noise, which becomes louder every time the unit is
operated.
Short hissing noises, however, are normal, as some dry ice may form
between the valve seating and the valve gasket. This ice will evaporate
quickly, thus not compromising the valve's functionality.
Maintenance should be carried out
annually
, please make an appointment
with the manufacturer, or send the unit in.
