Thank you for purchasing a Taylor® Non-‐Contact Infrared Thermometer. Your Taylor® instrument is an
example of superior design and craftsmanship. Please read this instruction manual carefully before use.

Do not use for safety related applications.
Instructions for Use
Simply aim the thermometer at the target to be measured with the probe and press the Measure button
to display the surface temperature.
The distance to target ratio is 1:1 therefore the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target
as possible.
Battery Replacement
The thermometer operates on one (1) CR2032 lithium battery (as installed). To replace the battery:
1. Using a coin, turn the battery compartment cover counterclockwise to open.
2. Replace the old battery with the new battery, with the “+” sign showing.
3. Replace cover and tighten with a coin turning clockwise.
