16. Remove the circlip from the input shaft.
17. Remove the input shaft from the housing.
18. Press the bearings off of the input shaft.
12. Using a soft metal or hard wood dowel, drive the
intermediate shaft through the bearing just enough
to allow clearance for an ID bearing puller. Do not
attempt to drive the shaft out of the opposite end of
the transmission.
13. Remove the intermediate bearing with an ID bearing
puller.
14. While supporting the shaft and gear assembly,
repeat steps #12 and #13 for the opposite side
bearing and remove the intermediate shaft from the
housing.
15. Remove the o-rings from each end of the
intermediate shaft.
19. Remove the o-rings from both sides of the
intermediate shaft bore and the input shaft bore and
discard the o-rings.
