
1. Remove the fill plug

2. Place a drain pan under the drain
plug

3. Remove the drain plug. Allow the
fluid to drain completely.
4. Clean and reinstall the drain plug.
Torque to specification.
5. Add the recommended fluid to the
bottom of the fill plug hole. Do not
overfill.
6. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to
specification.
7. Check for leaks. Discard used fluid
properly.

Refer to the specifications section beginning on page 89 for the recommended
spark plug type for your vehicle. Always torque spark plugs to specification.
NOTICE
Using non-recommended spark plugs can result in serious engine damage.
Always use Taylor—Dunn recommended spark plugs or their equivalent.

SPARK PLUG INSPECTION
Spark plug condition is indicative of engine operation. The spark plug firing end
condition should be read after the engine is warmed up and the vehicle is driven
at higher speeds. Immediately check the spark plug for correct color.
CAUTION
A hot exhaust system and engine can cause burns. Wear protective gloves
when removing a spark plug for inspection.
To inspect the spark plugs, do the following:
