2.25 Metal Fittings
Chrome Fittings
Maintenance of chrome fittings is largely the same as Aluminum;
normal maintenance involves only occasional washing with
household cleaner and periodic waxing. However, you can
achieve a really good result by using specialized chrome
cleaning such as autosol followed by wax polish.
Stainless Steel Fittings
Stainless steel is not totally as the name describes. For if it is not
cleaned regularly, you will find an accumulation of surface
staining caused by several difference factors. A good quality
chrome cleaner will remove any staining also regularly wash
over a solution of mild detergent and warm water will keep it
looking in good condition.
As time passes surface impurities caused during manufacture
will be removed and staining will decrease.
