Your TAYANA 48DS has one fuel filler. It is flush mounted
deck plates, located on stern of starboard side.
NOTE
：
When you fill the fuel tank, check carefully to ensure
that fuel does overflow through the vent when full.
Only use the clean, high quality diesel fuels that are
specified in your engine manual. Diesel fuel must be
clean and free from contamination. Fuel tank and
stored fuel must be inspected regularly for dirt,
water and bacteria
Fuel Filters
Each main engine and generator supplied has fuel filter. All of
the filters function primarily as water separator trapping moisture
that may enter or condense in the fuel tanks.
They should be checked regularly in accordance with the
Maintenance Schedule.
NOTE
：
Replacement of the filter will require bleeding of the fuel
system to vent air, which will enter when the cartridge is
removed.
