Depth of Cut - Disc Gang Angle
- The depth cut can be adjusted basically in two ways:
1st) Adjusting the working angle between the disc gang carriers.
2nd) Working the hydraulic cylinder so that the tires actuate as depth control.
Note: - WE RECOMMEND TO CONTROL THE DEPTH CUT BY ADJUSTING THE DISK
GANGS ANGLE AND JUST USE THE TIRES WHERE THE DISK HARROW
PENETRATES EXCESSIVELY.
Increase the working angle among the disk gangs to plow in soils with larger
difficulty in disk blades penetration. In light and loosening soils smaller disk gang angle
should be used.
This adjustment is made by changing the disk gang carriers and mainframe
settlement.
IMPORTANT: - BEFORE START DISKING IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE A MEDIUM DISK
GANGS ANGLE. IN CASE YOU NEED LARGER PENETRATION, INCREASE
THE ANGLE OF REAR GANG.
- THE FRONT DISK GANG GENERALLY DOESN'T WORK WITH LARGER
ANGLE THAN THE REAR GANG DOES.
- THE PLOWED LAND AREA IS ALWAYS ON THE OPERATOR'S LEFT HAND
(DISK HARROW CLOSED SIDE).
- DRIVE FOR DOING THE BEST WORK FINISHING AMONG A HARROW
PASSAGE AND OTHER. AVOID THE RAISED BEDS OR UNTILLED STRIPS.
