Maintenance of the Seeder
- Wash the whole machine, only with water.
- Wash the fertilizer augers with attention, in order to remove adherences.
- Verify all the rotating parts of the seeder for wearing occurrence. If necessary,
make the parts replacement, leaving the machine in order for the next seeding
season.
Hooking
point
Note: USE ONLY TATU ORIGINAL PARTS.
- Repair the painting failure of the machine.
- Spray the metallic parts with protective oil. Never use burnt oil.
- The driving mechanism chains must be removed at the end of the seeding
season, cleaned and stored in a recipient with oil until the next seeding season.
- Clean and lubricate all the grease fittings.
- After making all the repairs, cares and maintenance, store to seeder in
appropriate place; that is, in a dry and covered place.
- Articulate and lock the drawbar upwards.
- Maintain the seeder properly supported and avoid the contact of the discs
directly with the soil.
Points For Hoisting
The SDA CP No-Till Seed Drill possesses adequate points for hoisting, being two
frontal points, located in the frame of the bearing support, and a rear point below
the ladder. When using crane hoist, it is essential to hook the cables in the proper
points. Before initiate the lifting procedure, place the lock pins in order to sustain
wheel system (see page 29).
