Assembling the Transmission of the USG
1) Disengage all the row units from the seeder. (See orientations on pages 27
and 28).
2) Close all the outlets for seed and fertilizer. (See page 27).
3) Insert the square shaft (A) at the top of the box, after installing the bearings
(B) in the lateral, the single sprocket (C) and the sprocket cone (D).
4) Insert the sprocket cone (E) in the drive shaft (lower).
5) Place the shaft with both sprockets (F) and (G) under the drive shaft, after
assembling the bearings (B) in the lateral.
6) Place the chain tightener (H) under this shaft.
7) Place the lever (I), for sprocket changes, in the external side of the box and
fasten by the internal side of the box.
8) Mount all the USG Row Units observing the recommendation for number of
Odd and Even rows on page 16.
9) For assembly of the row units, use the same rods with springs existing in the
machine.
