FUEL FILTERS & PRIMING / PEAR PUMP

Maintenance

Fuel Filters :

Fuel Filter

Fuel filter separates dust particles
from the fuel & allows clean fuel in
to the common rail system. It also
separates & stores water.

Priming Pump / Pear Pump :

Priming / Pear Pump

This is used for priming the fuel
manually after overhauling of the
engine or after refitment of fuel
lines or after changing either fuel
filter or sedimenter Pump, by
means of priming pump / pear
pump until all air in the fuel line
removed. Before cranking the
engine ensure that there is no air
in the fuel system.

NOTICE

Do not loosen the HP lines of
DICOR system for bleeding the
air from fuel system.
