Amber
The lamp comes on when ignition is switched ‘ON’. Once engine 1.
is started, it turns ‘OFF’.
It remains ‘ON’ for any engine related fault that may increase emis- 2.
sion levels of the vehicle beyond the regulatory norms. Contact the
TATA MOTORS Authorized Dealer/Service Center for rectification
Check Engine Lamp Amber
The lamp comes on when ignition is switched ‘ON’. Once engine 1.
is started, it turns ‘OFF’.
Illuminates continuously if a fault arises in Engine Management 2.
System. Contact the TATA MOTORS Authorized Dealer/Service
Center.
Immobilizer
(if available)
Red
The lamp comes on when the system disables the engine start if 1.
the original key is not used.
Lamp blinks: Vehicle is in immobilized condition when key is not 2.
inserted.
Lamp ON: Problem with key/system. Contact TATA MOTORS 3.
Authorized Dealer/Service Center. 4.
Lamp OFF: Normal condition (Authenticated user) and engine will 5.
start.
