PLACING TOILET ON FLANGE
a) Clear the floor waste opening and place the toilet on the flange
so that the bolts pass through the mounting holes.
b) Loosely install the retainer washers and nuts. The washer sides
marked «THIS SIDE UP» must face up.

TOILET INSTALLATION
a) Position the toilet square to the wall and, with a rocking motion,
press the bowl down on the wax ring and flange. Alternately
tighten the bolts until toilet is firmly mounted to the ground.
WARNING:
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NUTS, AS THIS COULD
DAMAGE THE BASE.
b) Install the bolt caps on the washers. (If necessary, cut the bolt
height to the correct length before installing bolt caps).
c) Apply a bead of sealant around the base. Remove any excess
sealant.
TANK INSTALLATION
a) Insert the rubber grommets though the holes in the tank, and
then insert the bolts through the grommets.
b) Insert the large rubber gasket into the threaded outlet beneath
the tank and lower the tank onto the bowl so that the tapered
end of the gasket fits evenly into the water inlet opening of the
bowl.
c) With the tank parallel to the wall, alternately tighten nuts until
the tank is evenly fitted against the bowl surface.
WARNING:
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO OVERTIGHTEN NUTS
FOR A SNUG FIT.

INSTALLING WAX RING
Invert the toilet on the floor (cushion to prevent damage) and
install the wax ring evenly around the floor drain with the tapered
end of the ring facing the toilet.

TOILET SEAT INSTALLATION
Install toilet in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
