Installation Guide: 1200-7000 Series Routers

TiOS version 8.0

To attach the mounting brackets:

Select one of the three possible mounting positions on the sides of the system chassis.

Figure 19 Attaching Mounting Brackets

Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, attach a bracket to the desired mounting position on one side of
the Tasman system.

Refer to Figure 19 on page 39. Use two #6 flat washers, #6 lock washers, and #6 screws to mount
each bracket. Torque the mounting bracket screws to 12 in-lbs.

Attach the other bracket to the corresponding position on the other side of the system.

To secure the system to the rack:

Lift the Tasman system assembly into the rack and align the bracket holes with the desired holes
on the rack.

CAUTION:

Practice good safety habits. Use two people to rackmount the system.

Attach the Tasman system to the rack according to the instructions provided by the rack
manufacturer.
