GPIO connector overview
The GPIO connector on the back is a parallel control connector
for conducting external control of this unit.
In addition to external control of the SB-16D, GPIO connector
functions can also be set for use as extensions of the TASCAM
digital mixer GPIO connector. These can be set using the
TASCAM IO CONTROL app or a TASCAM digital mixer that
supports connection with this unit.
To use this unit by itself, see “GPIO settings” in the TASCAM IO
CONTROL reference manual.
When connected to a TASCAM Sonicview Series unit, this can be
done on the GPIO-IN and GPIO-OUT pages of the USER DEFINED
CONTROLS screen. For details, see “GPIO-IN page” and “GPIO-
OUT page” in “4 – Mixer configuration and other settings” of the
Reference Manual for the Sonicview Series unit.
