The Quick menu screen appears.
2 While listening to the input sound, use the
Â
or

button to adjust the input level.
When the
Â
or
¯
button is pressed, a
pull-up window showing input level settings
appears in the display.
CAUTION
• If the Monitor Mix function is disabled, the pull-up window
will not appear when pressing the
Â
or
¯
button.
• When distortion of sound is about to occur as the input
sound level is increased, the PEAK indicator on the upper left
above the display will be turned on. Adjust the input level for
recording so as not to allow the PEAK indicator to be turned
on.
NOTE
When input monitoring is ON and during overdub recording,
the
PEAK
indicator lights when the combined input and
playback signals become higher than the set level.
Start the overdubbing
1 Press the RECORD [
º
] button to set the unit
to record standby.
The overdubbing ON/OFF pop-up appears.
The recording file name, input source, recording
audio file type and sampling frequency also
appear so that you can confirm them before you
start recording.
2 Use the + or - button to select ON from the
overdubbing ON/OFF pop-up.
