MAINTENANCE
-
Do not clean, lubricate or adjust the machine while the machine or any moving parts are
in motion. All repairs, maintenance, cleaning and removals of functional failures shall be
carried out when the drive is unengaged and the tractor engine is off. The machine must
be disconnected from the tractor or lowered on the ground. Engage the parking brake of
the tractor and remove the ignition key before starting repairs, adjustments or replacing
parts. Make sure that there is no pressure in the hydraulic system.
-
It is forbidden to carry out repairs underneath a raised and not secured machine to avoid
accidental lowering of machine or its components.
-
Check regularly the tightness of nuts and bolts and tighten if necessary.
-
Use appropriate tools and gloves during parts replacement.
-
Carefully remove oil and grease from machine surfaces.
-
Unplug continuous supply of electricity before any electrical or welding works and works
on electrical system of the tractor-machine.
-
Protective devices are subject to wear and have to be regularly adjusted, controlled and
replaced when necessary.
-
Use only original spare parts specified by the manufacturer.
-
Check the condition of the hydraulic hoses and if necessary replace them with new ones.
Hydraulic hoses must be replaced in case of any damage or oil leakage but at least every
three years. The hoses shall be marked with the manufacture date and the maximum
intended pressure.
-
Lubrication: Long and smooth operation of the machine depends on the operator skills,
sufficient lubrication and appropriate maintenance. Lubrication points are marked with
yellow dots on the machine. All the lubricating points shall be thoroughly cleaned before
greasing so as any contaminants do not enter while greasing. Do not use grease of
vegetable or animal origin.
-
Remove any blockages or jams.
STORAGE
Before storage, make a detailed visual check of the machine, remove noticed faults and
replace any worn parts if necessary. Lay the grapple firmly on a hard and level surface.
Disconnect the lift arms, push arm and hydraulic hoses. Switch off the engine, disconnect
the hydraulic lines and pins from the three-point linkage and drive the tractor away. Tighten
the screws and nuts.
Clean and paint places where the paint has worn off. Unpainted parts should be covered
with a thin layer of grease or touch-up paint. Repairs of serious damages should be made by
an authorized service center. During storage the machine should be protected from rain or
snow.
