Residual risks
Although the manufacturer takes responsibility for design and construction in order to elim-
inate dangers, some elements of risk in operation cannot be avoided. Residual risks result
from incorrect behaviour of the operator. The most dangerous is if you perform the following
prohibited activities:
-
use the machine for purposes other than those specified in the instruction manual
-
stay between the log grapple and the tractor when the engine is running
-
staying near the log grapple during loading
-
loading the log grapple with too many logs, which can cause lack of stability
-
getting close to hydraulic arms of the working mechanism
-
performing maintenance without any precautions and in particular not respecting the
guidelines contained in the instruction manual
-
staying on the machine at work
-
cleaning the machine at work
-
checking the machine condition while working elements are running
To avoid any residual risks, respect recommendations such as:
-
careful reading of the instruction manual
-
prohibition of placing your hands in inaccessible and prohibited places
-
prohibition of staying on the machine at work
-
machinery maintenance and repairing only by persons familiarized with the instruction
manual and trained in maintenance, commissioning and respecting the health and safety
regulations
-
using machinery by persons who have already been trained and are familiarized with the
instruction manual
NOTE!
There is a residual risk in the event of not respecting the detailed instructions and notes.
