5.5
Scale Calibration
The feed scale must be calibrated regularly. We recommend to verify the scale's
accuracy between each batch or more often.
On initial startup, perform the scale calibration at the very end of the
programming process. The controller will start running right after this
calibration is made.

* Accessible from the installer mode (s. 5.2).
Enter the calibration weight using the
arrow keys. Once this is done, press the
down-arrow key.
Make sure the feed scale hopper is stable
and empty then press Enter to modify
the scale’s status; the status flashes on
the display.
• Press the up-arrow key once, dash lines prompt on screen. The message
“Please
wait...”
is displayed. Wait few seconds until the prompt “
Scale is : Laden
” is
displayed. The empty weight of the scale has now been recorded.
• Put the calibration weight into the feed scale hopper then wait until the scale
becomes stable again. It is recommended using a precision weight of at least
10 kg.
Once the scale is stable again, press Enter to change its status; the status
flashes on the display.
• Press the up-arrow key once, dash lines prompt on screen. The message
“Please
wait...”
is then displayed. Wait few seconds until the prompt “
Scale is : Saved
”
is displayed. Wait until the calibration is over.
• The message
“Scale is : Empty”
is shown when the calibration is completed.

5.9.1 Clock Outputs’ Relay Assignment.
The following procedure shows how to assign clock output relays. Refer to section
5.3 to activate clock outputs.
Do not make changes to the relay assignment
while a feed cycle is running!

• Time Clock Module ID:
Select on which relay panel each
clock output is connected; the relay
panel is identified by its ID number
(ID #4 to ID #19). Tables are avail-
able at the end of this manual to
write down the identification num-
ber of each module.
• Time Clock Output #:
Select on which relay each clock
output is connected (output 1-16).
If the output is connected to relays
17-32 of a 32 output relay panel,
select on which relay of the second
16-relay strip the output is con-
nected; i.e., relay 17=1, relay
18=2... relay 32=16. Refer to sec-
tion 5.9 for further information
