Unfortunately, to set manual checkpoints you must enter the menus more deeply.
To do so, click
Start/Control Panel
to open Control Panel. From here, select the
System and Maintenance
group. Then open the
System
icon.
A window containing basic information about your system opens. On the left, select
the task
Advanced System Settings
.

A new window labelled
System
Properties
will pop up. Click the
Sys-
tem Protection
tab. Here you can
create a manual checkpoint.

In the bottom part of the window,
click the button
Create
. A new window
appears prompting for a name for this
checkpoint. Choose a description that
helps you identify the checkpoint in the
future, e.g.
Full Installation
or
Before
installing the program XYZ
.
