TARCO® 3000 DUMP BODY/SPREADER MAINTENANCE
HOW TO USE THE MAIN DUMP BODY SAFETY PROP

CAUTION
MAKE SURE THAT THE DUMP BODY IS
EMPTY BEFORE USING THE SAFETY
PROP

CAUTION
MAKE SURE THAT THE SAFETY PROP
IS IN THE RIGHT POSITION BEFORE
GETTING UNDER THE DUMP BODY.
ADDITIONAL
SAFETY BLOCKING IS REQUIRED. TO PREVENT
THE BODY FROM LOWERING DOWN SAFETY
BLOCKING MUST NOT BE REMOVED UNTIL THERE
IS NO DANGER OF ANYONE BEING UNDER THE
BODY WHEN BODY IS LOWERED.
To Use:
1. Release safety prop holder. Allow safety prop to drop down.
2. Raise dump body until the safety prop clears the positioning pad.
3. Slowly lower the body until the safety prop is secure on its pad, you should notice a resistance.
4. Make sure the control valve is placed in the neutral position.
5. Visually verify that the safety prop is in position.
To Put Away:
1. Remove all additional safety blocking.
2. Raise dump body until the safety prop clears the positioning pad.
3. Position safety prop to its original position.
4. Lower the dump body.
