Communication Functions

Optical / Cable Communication: [ 

 Record Settings] 

1. 

Set up the RTR-500DC and the Remote Unit to enable communi-

cation. 

See page 36 for details.

2. 

In the Main Menu, open [OP Record Settings] to make necessary 

settings to start recording. 

 [Start] 

[Programmed]: Recording will begin on the set date and time.

[Immediate]: Recording will begin immediately.

 [Interval] and Recording Mode

The current Recording Interval and the icon for the Recording Mode Settings in the 

Remote Unit will appear here.  

 Programmed Recording Start Time

If you have selected [Programmed], make settings for the recording start time. 

 Current Time 

3. 

Adjust the arrow to [Execute] and press the Operation Dial to 

communicate with the Remote Unit.
