2.2 Powering Up the System
When all connections have been made to the system, you may supply power and start-up the system. It is
recommended that you power up the codec first and then the rest of the system.
1. Connect AC power to the codec and power on
2. Connect DC power to the TANDBERG Applications Module
–
the system will power-up automatically
Once the system is powered-up, the touch panel will become active and run through a 15 second boot cycle.
The system is ready when the

Welcome Screen
’
is displayed on the touch panel.
NOTE: If there is no communication between the touch panel and the TAM, then you will see a DIAGNOSTIC
BOOT UP SCREEN and not proceed to the
‘
Welcome Screen
’
. Follow the onscreen instructions to resolve
problem. Please consult you support personnel or TANDBERG representative if you are unable to proceed
beyond this page.
NOTE: Before proceeding with your system, be sure to provide basic setup and configuration for the codec by
following the procedures outlined in
