Thermal Expansion Valve

a .

Disassemble the new valve by removing two

capscrews (7) that secure the power assembly to

the flanged base (9) and separate the two.

b .

Braze in accordance with paragraph 5-15.

c. Install the flanged base in the support

bracket.

d .

I n s t a l l   p o w e r   a s s e m b l y   o n   f l a n g e d   b a s e ,   ,

being careful to fit lugs on the cage assembly

into the cavities in the power assembly.

e. Secure expansion valve with two capscrews.

f .

Connect external equalizer line (10) to power

assembly.
