Has the neck cushion
degraded?

Check that there is no tearing, dirt or
sinking of the neck cushion surface.

These may cause pain or transfer dirt to the
customer's neck and head. The neck cushion is
consumable supplies. Replace it as soon as
possible.

Do the backrest and the
seat work correctly?
□
Operate the lock lever, and check
that there is no abnormal sound or
rattling when the backrest is
reclined or the seat is moved.

There is a possibility of an accident or louder
sound volume due to a malfunction. Contact your
closest dealer.

Are the backrest and
the seat locked
securely?
□
Operate the lock lever, and check
that the backrest and the seat can be
locked securely. (See page 13.)

of unusual sounds due to defective locking.

Is the mounting surface
of the basin unit wet
with water?
□
Open the maintenance cover and
check that the mounting surface and
pipes are not wet with water.

There is a possibility that water is leaking from the
pipes. If this is the case, immediately stop using
the product and contact your closest dealer.

Is there an abnormal
odor coming from the
basin drain?
□
Check if there is an abnormal odor
coming from the basin drain
□
Remove any hair and other objects trapped in the
hair catcher. (see page 23)

Does the basin,
backrest or seat rattle?
□
Slowly push the rear end of the basin,
top of the backrest or the front end of
the seat in each direction, and check
whether they rattle.
□
Rattling may cause incorrect operation or damage
in the main body, or cause it to fall over. Stop using
the product.
□
Does the tap work
properly?
□
Turn the tap and check if warm
water is output properly and that
there is no abnormal noise, then
close the tap and check that warm
water stops properly.
* An abnormal gushing sound may be emitted
as water flows. (see page 17)
□
If there is abnormal noise or the water does not
turn off properly when the tap is closed firmly,
there may be a malfunction in the stop valves of
the tap.
□
Is water output from
the shower head
properly?
□
Feed the hot water, and visually
check that water is discharged
normally from the shower head,
water is not leaking from the air
bubble fixture, or the hot water is
not turbid.
□
If hot water is not fed normally, clean the strainer
(see pages 25 and 26) and the inside of the shower
head. (See pages 23 and 24.)
□
If water is leaking from the air bubble fixture or
from the base of the shower head, the internal
gasket may be worn out. If replacement is
required, contact your closest dealer.
□
If the hot water is turbid, there is a possibility that
the strainer of the check valve is contaminated.
Clean the strainer. (See pages 25 and 26.)

Procedures for Daily Inspections

Is the plating of the
tap and
the thermostatic
control knob peeled
off?
□
Visually check the tap
and the thermostatic control knob
for scratches, cracks, or peeling of
the plated surface.
□
Scratches, cracks, or peeling of the plated surface
may result in injury of hand. If they exist,
replacement of the knob is required. Contact
your closest dealer.
□
During operation or maintenance,
check that there are no burrs or
irregularities on the surface.
