12-6. T-K3 ON/OFF conditions: Overview 

 

 

The  T-K3 has tw o modes of ON/OFF conditions. 
Select either mode by changing Dipsw itch 3 on the 
upper bank of dipsw itches as shown in the picture 
to the right. 
 

Intermittent mode 

This mode is the nor mal, default mode. 

Continuous mode

 

This mode is for heating systems that deal w ith 

smaller temperature differentials.

The BTU requirement is more

than 11,900 BTU/h 

AND 

The w ater flow  rate is more 
than 0.52 GPM 

Conditions needed to 

turn the T-K3 OFF

 

The BTU requirement is less 
than 11,900 BTU/h 

OR 

Inlet temperature is higher  
than the set temperature 

OR 

Outlet temperature is over 
194°F 

OR 

The w ater flow  rate is less 
than 0.4 GPM   

The BTU requirement is less 
than 7,440 BTU/h
