Changing Flexiscan Scan Group
Settings (Advanced Menu)

Note: Flexiscan scan group features may not
be available or modifiable on your radio.

Configuring Flexiscan Scan Groups

Flexiscan scan groups can be modified in the same ways
as Scanning and Voting groups (see ‘Configuring Scan
Groups’ on page 64), using the advanced menu.

Before modifying a Flexiscan scan group you need to
understand the various types of channel membership
status:

■

The channel is currently a member of the

Flexiscan scan group.

■

NS:

The channel does not belong to the current

Flexiscan scan group.

■

: The channel is the first priority channel.

■

: The channel is the second priority channel.

To modify the status of a channel in a scan group:

Long press the menu key to enter menu mode (if the
radio displays a submenu option, press the clear key
to enter the main menu).

Scroll through the main menu options using the
arrow keys until

ADV SETTINGS

is displayed.

Scroll through the main menu options using the
arrow keys until

PROGRAM FS-GROUP

is displayed.

Press the menu key to enter group programming
mode.

FSPR

is displayed in the top left-hand corner.

Scroll through the available scan groups using the
arrow keys until the desired group is displayed.
