Magnetic Stripe Reader and Machine-Readable Zone Reader
The Magnetic Stripe Reader (MSR) and Machine-Readable Zone Reader modules are optional
components. Contact your representative for ordering information.
Installing the Module
1. Power off the TAG GD700. See “Powering Off the Device” on page 20.
2. Remove the snap-on module connector cover. See “Removing the Snap-on Module
Connector Cover” on page 32.
3. Align the module correctly. The reader sensor must be facing the front of the device.
4. Align connectors on the module and the device.
5. Insert the device over the connector and press down. An audible click sounds when the
module is installed correctly.
6. Secure the module and the TAG GD700 with the screws.
